Brownie Deluxe

1 box German chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Light or Smart Balance, melted
1 can fat free evaporated milk
1 14 oz bag caramels or Kraft caramel balls (the balls are nice since you do not need to unwrap them)
1 small bag dark chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans

In a large bowl, stir with a spoon only the following:
 cake mix,  melted butter, pecans, 1/3 cup evaporated milk
The mixture will be very thick and sticky

Pre heat oven to 350

spray a 9 x 13 baking dish, lightly flour the dish

press cake mixture into the dish evenly, add flour to hands as needed as it will be very sticky

Bake for 6 minutes

Sprinkle the brownies with chocolate chips, heat caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk in the microwave, stir and carefully spread over brownies

return to oven for 16-18 minutes

cool completely

Edges will be crunchy and the middle will be very soft and chewy
